The Klegg Mini: World’s Smallest Color-Screen MP3 Player

If you like your gadgets small, you need to peep the Klegg Mini. This one is being touted as the world’s smallest MP3 player to incorporate a color screen. The device is available in 128, 256, and 512 MB flavors and is able to hold both music and photos. Using the color screen, images can be played as slide shows, and this thing even does voice recording. The connection is standard USB 2.0, which is also the method used to recharge its internal battery. The unit itself is just 1.8x1.6x0.5 inches, and the display is a simple 1-inch, 128x128, 4,096-color display.

Official: Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible Game List

Xbox.com has finally published its list of titles that will be backwards compatible when the Xbox 360 launches. More games will be added as time goes by, however, you will need a software emulator to play them. This means that anyone who purchases a core system will need to shell out the extra dough for the memory card at the very least in order to play their old favorites. Interestingly enough, not all of the best sellers are backwards compatible - a quick glance at the list reveals that games like Project Gotham 2, BurnOut 3 (and Revenge), MechAssault, and FIFA 2005 will not be playable out of the gate. Bummer. At least that copy of Yourself!Fitness that you never got around to using is compatible.

The cool cats over at Vaja have released their latest high-quality leather case, this time targeting the iPod nano. We recently took a look at the iVod DJ, Vaja’s protective solution for the 4th generation iPod color, and we were impressed. The iPod nano case seems to come at a bargain, as Vaja’s prices are usually pretty hefty. You can pick this one up for $55 USD.

Official Xbox 360 Launch Title List

Microsoft has finally released an official list of the launch games that will be available on or before November 22 - right in time for the launch of the Xbox 360. From the looks of things, you have the opportunity to pick up 18 games - 11 of which involve some sort of sport. Check out the full list after the jump.

When we received the Canary Wireless Digital Hotspotter, I was unsure of how useful the product would be in this day and age. After all, I have been doing just fine flipping open my PowerBook and checking to see if there was a wireless signal around. Why would we need a device that is dedicated to detecting wi-fi networks that are surrounding you? Well, you have to use it to know. We just love the various different ways that electronics are used in the land across the Pacific. I mean, just take a look at this LED cap. Just think about the possibilities here. For the bandwagon hopper, just reprogram your hat to display the name of the team which is currently in the lead at a sporting event. The thing can hold six 256 character messages in it’s memory, so have a field day. The display is a 17x7 dot-matrix screen, so think 2-3 letters at a time, scrolling across your forehead.
Fans of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling rejoice - for the first time in quite a few years you will be able to get your hands on a wrestling game that is not branded with the WWE brand. Midway is looking to bring a TNA Wrestling game to market sometime in 2007. Based on that information, we can expect to see the title appear on next-generation consoles. We look forward to seeing how Midway integrates TNA’s unique six-sided wrestling ring into the gameplay schema.

OS GamerCard: Xbox Live Stats Widgets

This widget displays your gamer card, or anyone elses gamer card for Xbox Live on Xbox 360. This includes information on your Avatar, Gamer Rep, Gamer Score and Zone. This will also display the most recent games the player has played, though clicking on them will not take you to the comparison page at the moment because Dashboard cannot open URLs with special characters in them. You can however click on the Avatar to be taken to the players profile page.
You will need a Macintosh with 10.4 or greater to run the Dashboard version or a Windows/Mac OS computer with a copy of Konfabulator 2.1.
