We know that plenty of our readers have been waiting anxiously for Halo 3 to drop, and Microsoft just threw us all a bone today with the Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition console. And yes, that is the entire name of the unit. While it won’t satiate your appetite for Halo 3 gaming goodness (that happens in a little over a week,) it really is a sweet looking piece of machinery. We got our hands on one today, and naturally, took a bunch of unboxing images for your viewing pleasure - 41 in total. A couple of weeks ago, Apple announced the newly redesigned iPod nano. More stout, but with a larger screen, this was the update to the most popular portable audio player of all time. We got our hands on one of the (PRODUCT) RED versions of the new iPod nano. We chose that color because a portion (10%) of the purchase price - $20 - goes to the Global Fund to fight disease in Africa. Apple iPod classic Unboxing Gallery

Steve Jobs just announced a complete refresh and redesign for the entire iPod line during the September 5 Apple event. The standard iPod was rechristened as the iPod classic, and the old white iPod is no more - the iPod classic is currently only available in silver and black colors. We got our hands on one of the new silver models, and have compiled an iPod classic unboxing gallery for your viewing pleasure. We give you a look at the box, the iPod classic itself, it’s bundled accessories, and everything else you’d expect…although that about covers it.

Xbox 360 Messenger Kit Unboxing Gallery

The Xbox 360 Messenger Kit has been hyped for months now, and it finally hits stores on September 4, 2007. The Kit includes the much anticipated Xbox 360 Chatpad - a QWERTY keyboard accessory that snaps onto an Xbox 360 controller - along with a newly redesigned Xbox 360 headset. The new headset features a simple audio connector, with the mute and volume switch located on the wire itself - much more user friendly, and it looks better too. If you are tired of all the mundane typing that it takes to enter redeemable codes or to write quick messages to friends on the Xbox 360, this is definitely one to consider. We were able to get our hands on a Messenger Kit pre-launch, and have put up an Unboxing gallery giving you a look at both pieces of the package.

Unboxing Gallery: iriver clix Rhapsody

iriver and Real unleashed the iriver clix Rhapsody into the world yesterday, and we were able to get our hands on one for your vicarious unboxing pleasure. The device is pretty much just a clix2 with updated firmware that allows for integration with the Real Rhapsody music service, providing a great hardware/software solution similar to what one might get with the iPod and iTunes. We were able to get our hands on one of the soon-to-be-released Halo 3 Edition Microsoft Zunes, and we figured you guys might be interested if we put it through one of our Unboxing Ceremonies. We recently got our hands on the HP Pavilion TX1000 Entertainment Notebook (try saying that three times fast), and decided we would hook you guys up with another Unboxing gallery. This is one of the biggest galleries we have done, as we have forty-six images of the TX1000 for your vicarious viewing enjoyment. Unboxing the HP Pavilion TX1000 took us quite a while to complete, but when all was said and done, we walked away impressed.
