Ellen Page Overwhelmed by Support

Ellen Page admits the support she has received since coming out has "blown her mind."
The X-Men: Days of Future Past actress revealed she is gay at the Human Rights Campaign's Time to Thrive conference in February and admits she expected to be subjected to some "vicious" comments afterwards.
"I've experienced basically nothing but support, it's actually really kind of blown my mind. I thought there would be a lot more viciousness," she said.
The 27-year-old star admitted she was "afraid" to make the revelation because of the expected backlash, and she thinks it is "beautiful" so many people have had kind things to say: "Maybe that's because you're afraid and for some reason you have this perspective, because of probably your own anxiety. So to me, that's been the most beautiful thing, because it's so indicative of the change that's happened and the growth that's happening. For me, it's been basically nothing but support."

Microsoft slashes price of Xbox One to $399 without Kinect

Microsoft surprised the gaming world this morning with the announcement it will sell the Xbox One without Kinect for $399 starting on June 9th in the U.S. This brings the price of the Xbox 360 in line with that of the PlayStation 4, which should bring the two consoles into even more heated competition.
An odd move (though some might say it was expected in order to compete,) since the company wouldn't stop talking about how essential Kinect is to the Xbox One functionality and gaming direction less than a year ago. I guess Microsoft has been feeling the heat if the PlayStation 4 sales, and had to adjust that strategy right quick.

Kelly Rowland has gotten married.
The former Destiny's Child singer and her manager Tim Witherspoon tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Costa Rica last Friday, it has been claimed. "It was a quick, simple ceremony - only around 30 people," a source told Us Weekly. Among the guests were Kelly's former bandmate Beyonce and her sister Solange.
Although the nuptials haven't been confirmed, Beyonce had posted a photograph to her Instagram account on the big day wearing what appeared to be a bridesmaids dressed but was captioned only, "'Good morning."
Speaking last December, 33-year-old Kelly admitted she and Tim had been engaged for some time: "He put a ring on it. It's been a while. We've kept it very, very low - for years, to be completely honest." Kelly also revealed her boyfriend of four years proposed on Skype while she was in Bulgaria. "He put a ring on it! He asked me first on Skype and I was like, 'We're so far away from each other.' But it was so late, I remember we were both just kinda like, honestly, just staring at each other ... and he asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes," she said.

The Seth Rogen and Zac Efron comedy Neighbors stole The Amazing Spider-Man 2's thunder at the box office this weekend.
The Nick Stoller-directed flick pulled in $49 million while the superhero movie only managed to draw $35.5 million. The Other Woman and Heaven Is For Real both fell one spot to number three and four, respectively, with $9.6 million and $7.4 million. The other Marvel adaptation, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, dropped from number four to number five this week with $5.7 million.

Solange Knowles “Overreacted” to Jay Z’s Comment

Solange Knowles reportedly attacked Jay Z after she "overreacted" to something he said.
The 27-year-old singer "flipped out" at the rapper, 44, in an elevator at the Met Gala after-party in New York last week because she was offended by a comment he made. "Solange flipped out over something Jay had said, that she took the wrong way. She took it too hard or too far. Not sure what it was, but she greatly overreacted," a source said.
Solange was caught on surveillance kicking and clawing her brother-in-law as they left the bash held in the Boom Boom Room at The Standard Hotel in New York City, last Monday. Jay didn't appear to retaliate as the brunette beauty screamed in his face, but he did attempt to hold her hands down as their bodyguard struggled to hold her back.
Beyonce appeared to stay calm and collected throughout the scuffle and watched on helplessly as her sister violently attacked her husband.

Britney Spears Offered $12 Million to Extend Residency

Britney Spears is close to extending her Las Vegas residency.
The "Perfume" singer, whose show Piece of Me at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has been a huge success, has reportedly been offered $12 million to continue performing until 2016. According to New York Daily News, the pop star is close to securing a deal with Ceasers Entertainment, the parent company of Planet Hollywood, to stay on at the venue.
"Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not. She has been filling the place every night, and she is enjoying it and is in good health," said Ceasers Palace President, Gary Selesner.
The 32-year-old star was scheduled to perform 50 shows per year in 2014 and 2015 as part of the initial deal, earning her an impressive $30 million, and Gary admitted it was a "gamble" in the beginning but he is now happy with how popular the show is and wants her to return for further dates.

‘Fifty Shades’ Director Reveals Aaron Johnson-Taylor Apperance

Director Sam Taylor-Wood has revealed that her husband, Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson-Wood, will be making an apperance in Fifty Shades of Grey.
When asked at a recent Godzilla premiere about whether or not she was able to fit Johnson-Wood into the much-anticipated film - which is currently in post-production - the 47-year-old hesistated a moment before answering, "Actually, I have."
Taylor-Wood (unfortunately!) didn't divulge anything aside from admitting that the 23-year-old - to whom she's been married for 2 years now - will have a role in the film adaptation of the best-selling novel. Fans will have to wait to see just which role she gave him!
The film, which stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, is slated to be released around Valentine's Day next year.

Lindsay Lohan continues to kiss and tell about her former lovers.
The Canyons star has revealed more details regarding that infamously leaked sex list in a recent interview following the finale of her reality series, Lindsay.
While some stars have vehemently denied having slept with the 27-year-old as others simply have avoided commenting on the matter altogether, Lohan claims that she does feel bad for those on the list: "I don’t care about me in that situation - I care about the people that are involved with other people. Because it’s really unfortunate and disrespectful."
Lohan explained that she has since realized which person among her circle of friends who leaked the list - a list, she claims, was written to help her through recovery when she was at the Betty Ford Clinic - and has cut said individual out of her life: "I’m pretty sure I know who it is, unfortunately, and they’re not a part of my life at all anymore... That is a desperate human being and I hope they find some peace. Because anyone that’s willing to do that to someone else is really f***ed up in the head, and I don’t want that in my life."

Ellen Page: Bryan Singer Claims Are Disturbing

Ellen Page has called the sexual abuse allegations against X-Men director Bryan Singer "super disturbing."
The actress, who stars in X-Men: Days of Future Past, has spoken out about Bryan's ordeal, after two men accused him of abuse when they were teenagers.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the star called the claims "super, super disturbing" and said, "I guess the truth will come out in the way that it does, but it's hard to hear about someone being in that situation, someone you like working with." But whatever happens in the case, she said, "I do think that there's a systematic issue of people in places of power manipulating and abusing young people."
Bryan, 48, was hit with a second sexual abuse lawsuit this month after a man accused him of allegedly abusing him at a London hotel with Broadway producer Gary Goddard when he was just 17.

Chris Brown Sentenced to 131 Days in Prison

Chris Brown has been sentenced to 131 days in prison.
The 24-year-old singer has been forced to spend just over four months behind bars after he admitted in a Los Angeles court yesterday that he violated his probation by getting into a fight in Washington D.C. last year.
The judge, James R. Brandlin, originally sentenced the "Loyal" hitmaker to 365 days in custody, but gave him credit for the 234 days he has already spent in rehab and jail. However, it is unclear how long he will actually serve as he could get out earlier due to over-crowding in the prison.
The judge also ordered Chris, who has recently been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, to attend therapy sessions with a shrink twice a week and undergo random drug testing three times a week, according to TMZ.com.
