Nano TV The screen on the iPod nano isn’t exactly huge with its 2-inch display. The Nano TV converts your 3rd generation device into a mini-TV. Designed to look like a TV/VCR player combination, the screen moves to a whopping 2.8 inches, ready to compete with the bigger iPods. Lightweight and compact, pop your nano into the top and it will play through its included speakers. Small enough for traveling, pre-order for £14.99 (~$22.00) for an early January delivery.

Packard Bell dot Netbook

PB dot It’s Packard Bell’s turn to release a netbook. They have decided to make the “dot” more family friendly, since most of companies are going after business types. The mini-PC is 8.9-inches and has an Atom processor with 160GB hard drive, 1 GB RAM, and runs Windows XP, for those who are still nervous about Vista. Options include a webcam, a 3G module, and a 6-cell battery for longer life. Look for the dot in a European release first for £315 (~$584.00.)

iLuv iSP100 Mini Stereo Speaker

iLuv Speaker iLuv has unveiled the iSP100 Mini Portable Stereo Speaker. It is compatible with iPods, iPhones, and MP3 players. Powered by 3 AAA batteries, the speaker has what the company calls “720° Surround Sound.” It comes with a retractable cable with 3.5mm jack for headphone or audio output and traveling case. Look for the speaker’s debut in the next few weeks with a price tag of $34.99.

Last year Thanko came out with an Easy Desk. This year it’s the Easy Desk Cool 2. It will hold all sizes of laptops and adjusts its angle with a push of the button. You can also raise or lower it when you are upright. The built-in USB fan will keep your sweaty palms nice and cool. When you are done, fold the desk up and stash it under your bed or couch. The Japanese company Dreams has unveiled their new portable speaker. The Sound Ball is designed for your PMP and small enough to be kept on a key chain. Available in purple, pink, or green, the gadget features a built-in rechargeable battery and an on/off button. Hook it to your cell phone, backpack, or laptop when not in use. The Sound Ball comes with a USB charge cord and stereo mini-cable. It carries a price of $39.99.

Toshiba Portable LED Projector

Toshiba Projector Toshiba’s LED projector is tiny, tiny, tiny. At a size of 45 x 17 x 100mm, it weighs a mere 100g. Shown recently in Berlin, Germany, at the IFA expo, the phone-size device should make its presence known early next year. How wonderful that with the advent of LED, we no longer have to suffer with huge, roaring fans to cool projectors down and still do our part to save the planet. No price is available as yet.

With a 2-inch LCD screen, attach by USB to play back on your computer or hook up to your TV with the included AV cable. The Busbi comes with a 1GB SD card for about 60 minutes, and you can upgrade to a 2 GB card for making those epic 2 hour videos. Send them to YouTube or other social networks. The cam is available at Firebox’s London site for £34.95 (~$68.00.)
