India’s Spice Mobile has unveiled its X-1 Phone for game freaks. With a 2.4-inch display, it features a gaming controller peripheral, a 2 megapixel cam, Yamaha 3D surround sound, a call blacklist, and an integrated FM tuner. In addition, it has a memory slot for cards up to 2GB, Bluetooth connectivity, and comes with pre-loaded games and dedicated keys. The Spice X-1 retails for about $210.00.

Zoom has released the H4 Handy Digital Recorder for recording in 4 tracks that also serves as an audio interface. With it you can record 24bit/96KHz digital audio and MP3s with a 320 kbps bitrate. It features two condenser mics, has an included 512MB SD card, and 2 combo XLR-1/4-inch input jacks. Palmsize, it runs on 2 AA batteries, has a back-lit 128 x 64 pixel LCD display, and comes with a windshield cover and tripod adapter. We suspect audiophiles will realize that the $350.00 price tag is probably worth the extra expense after reading all the specs.

Sony has a new Bluetooth clip-on with a connecting range of 10 meters and a 12 hour playback capacity or 200 hour standby. Available in black, silver, white, or pink, the open air dynamic earphones have a frequency response of 16 to 24,000Hz, a charge time of 3 hours, and have functions of playback, stop, pause, and tune sending. The DR-BT140QP comes with a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery and for now are only in Japan at a price of $149.99.

Dell isn’t the only one with a mini-desktop. Shuttle’s KPC 4800 has an optical drive and runs Foresight Linux, with an option for Windows Vista. It features dual-monitor support and you can sync your cellie, play tunes from your MP3 Player, organize your photos, use included office application, or go Bluetooth. You can also expand from the standard 512MB of memory to 2GB or add another hard drive. Note that with the inexpensive price starting at ~$99.99, you are on your own when it comes to peripherals.

Sirius has finally completed their acquisition of XM. The company will now be called Sirius XM Radio (duh) and will consist of 18.5 million subscribers. They will have more exclusive programming in addition to Howard, Oprah, and Martha. Users have the option of maintaining their current packages, but it remains to be seen if SXM can get new $13.00 subscriptions and radio sales with the economy being the way it is. We think consumers may opt for a couple more gallons of gas instead.
