Is That Really a Tiger Across the Street?

Video artist Karolina Sobeca has created a type of screen projection of animals called Wildlife that we just had to share with any of you that had never seen it previously. Connected to a moving car, the frame rate of the moving images corresponds to the speed of the automobile’s wheel rotation by use of a sensor. If the car stops, the screen creature does as well. The projection often flickers or disappears when detected on buildings, another car, or humans. We dig Karolina’s approach to art, “We are elevated from the everyday reality through this element of fantasy into a world with more dimensions, possibilities and perhaps beauty.”
