Pussycat Doll Hits Back at Nicole Scherzinger
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Pop,
Nicole Scherzinger refused to share the spotlight with the rest of the Pussycat Dolls, according to her ex-bandmate.
Former Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones has hit back at the "Don't Hold Your Breath" singer for claiming in her upcoming VH1 Behind the Music special that she did 95% of the singing herself and the rest of the group did not record any vocals for their albums. Kaya did not deny Nicole's claims, but insisted the other members of the band were heavily involved.
"There was a lot more going on behind the scenes. Nicole was always someone who wanted to be in the spotlight and would do pretty much anything to get it. To call the other girls in the Pussycat Dolls 'window dressings' is a bit far-fetched ... every girl in the group was talented," she told TMZ.

Nicole Scherzinger: I Did All the Pussycat Dolls Singing
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Pop,
Nicole Scherzinger did all the singing in Pussycat Dolls.
The star - who fronted an earlier line up of the girl band, and now has a solo career - insisted she did "probably 95 per cent" of the vocals on the six-member group's debut album, PCD.
Speaking on a Behind The Music special for TV channel VH1, Nicole said, "I hope I don't get in trouble for the stuff that I say but I'll never forget I finished the album, PCD, and [executive producer] Ron [Fair] and I brought the girls into the studio and we played it for them. It was the first time they'd ever heard the music. Do you understand what I'm saying? We played the album for the Pussycat Dolls. It was the first time they'd ever heard the songs."

Kanye West Talks About Himself on Storytellers
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Performances, Hip-Hop & Rap,
If you consider Kanye West’s provocative comments to be more humorous than outright annoying, you may want to set your DVRs now.
Later this month, the rapper will get an entire hour of television to himself. As the featured guest on VH1’s Storytellers program, Kanye will get a chance to perform tracks from 808’s & Heartbreak and talk about the stories behind each song.
So what should one expect from that February 28th broadcast? I’m predicting something similar to this recent quote in Details magazine:
“Oh my God, I’m one of the greatest rappers in the world. I’ll get on a track and completely ee-nihilate that track, I’ll eat it and rip it in half. I wouldn’t have to think of it.”
