One Direction Would Never Go Solo

One DirectionOne Direction would never consider solo careers. The "Little Things" group - Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik - are a solid unit and none of them could imagine a time when they'd break away and try to forge their own career.

"I wouldn't do it. We're together now, and that's it," Niall told Barbara Walters. Zayn agreed, adding, "It's not even a question." Louis Tomlinson explained further, saying, "We're just having an absolutely great time. It'd be wrong to look at it and be like, 'When is this gonna end?'"

Barbara also asked the band about an infamous incident when they were mobbed by eager female fans in Sweden who pressed their breasts against their car. Describing the situation, Louis said, "To the point where there was actually nipple marks all over the window. What dreams are made of."

Gwen Stefani Wasn’t Serious About Going Solo

Gwen StefaniGwen Stefani's solo career was "never meant to be taken seriously."

The singer has reunited with her original band, No Doubt, for their new album, Push and Shove and despite having sold millions of copies of her two solo records, her heart always lay with her original band.

"It just feels so much more natural being back in this mode. The solo records allowed me to indulge my girly side but it was never meant to be taken seriously. It was just like an art project that kept going longer than I expected. The group never ended - we always knew we'd come back to make this album."

Gwen, 42, also said her rocker husband, Gavin Rossdale from Bush doesn't listen to her ska-pop group - which also includes Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont - as he doesn't like their style of music: "Oh, he's never been a fan of what we do. He's more into dark, indie stuff. But I'm not saying he doesn't think I'm amazing."
