Flo Rida wants to work with Calvin Harris.

The "Whistle" rapper has had huge hits produced by David Guetta and Axwell, and wants to continue his winning streak by teaming with Calvin, who has been behind tracks for Rihanna, Scissor Sisters, Dizzee Rascal and Cheryl Cole. "I did a remix of a Calvin track off my own back, like a bootleg, and I'm sure his camp must have heard it by now. Hopefully, Calvin will get the message," he told The Daily Star.

iTunes top purchases

Apple just sold their ten billionth iTunes track, and to go along with the festivities, they’ve released a list of the 20 best-selling tracks of all time that have been purchased from the iTunes Store. We’ve got the list for you below, which we find fairly interesting. I mean, I Gotta Feeling is both fairly new in the grand scheme of things, and also pretty sucky, and yet it’s the most downloaded track in iTunes history. Also, Flo Rida gets two spots on the top 20, which ties him with Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas, and Katy Perry for most appearances on the list.

  1. I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas
  2. Poker Face - Lady Gaga
  3. Boom Boom Pow - Black Eyed Peas
  4. I’m Yours - Jason Mraz
  5. Viva la Vida - Coldplay
  6. Just Dance - Lady Gaga
  7. Low - Flo Rida
  8. Love Story - Taylor Swift
  9. Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis
  10. Tik Tok - Ke$ha
  11. Disturbia - Rihanna
  12. SO What - Pink
  13. I Kissed a Girl - Katy Perry
  14. Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) - Beyonce
  15. Hot N Cold - Katy Perry
  16. Stronger - Kanye West
  17. Live Your Life - T.I.

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Performances, Videos, Pop,

To kick off the official debut of her new album, Animal, singer Ke$ha performed her hit song “TiK ToK” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today.

Never heard of Ke$ha? Well, the 22-year-old is now linked to two of the hottest tracks…ever. Just last week, the singer sold 610,000 downloads of her current single—that’s the best number for any female artist in recorded history. The overall title still belongs to Flo Rida’s “Right Round” (636,000)—another song Ke$ha can be heard on.

Coldplay, Leona Lewis Top iTunes’ 2008 Sales

ColdplayLeona Lewis

Earlier this year at the 2008 Oscars, American actors walked away empty-handed. Now American musicians are being pushed aside by the British Invasion.

According to the Associated Press, this year’s best sellers were performers from across the pond. Topping the album charts was Coldplay’s Viva la Vida. Although the company does not reveal actual sales numbers, a majority of the band’s digital sales (500,000 since June) were apparently purchased through iTunes. (More than 2 million copies of Viva have been sold overall.) The other artists in the Top 5 include Jack Johnson (Sleep Through the Static), the Juno soundtrack, Lil Wayne (Tha Carter III) and Sara Bareilles (Little Voice).

BOA’s Eat You Up single, video

BOA

Described by some as the Korean Britney Spears, BOA, which stands for Best of Asia, is hitting the States with her single Eat You Up. The single has already hit #3 in the iTunes Dance Chart and there are talks about a Flo Rida remix. I know what you’re thinking…is BOA really as good as her name proclaims? I’ve personally never ventured to Asia so I am not qualified to judge, but based on the single, I’m going to say no. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great dance song, but I can think of at least 10 things off the top of my head which can easily top that title.

Watch the video after the break, and tell me if I’m wrong. Don’t be swayed by her dance moves. Leave your thoughts in the comments.
