Kristen Stewart Finds Her Prince Charmant

Kristen Stewart has a prince… and it’s not Robert Pattinson. Stewart, who will be playing one of the title roles on Snow White and the Huntsman (guess which), will be paired onscreen with Sam Claflin.
He recently came to attention in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Claflin will play Prince Charmant, Stewart’s love interest in the re-telling of the fairy tale. Charlize Theron will play the Evil Queen, and so far no Huntsman has been cast.

New Eagle Eye Trailer Released

Whether it is the amazing teaser trailer, the fact that Spielberg is attached, or simply Shia LaBeouf, Eagle Eye has caught the attention of all sorts of film fans.
Adding more of a peek into Michelle Monaghan‘s character, the trailer has gotten me even more pumped about the upcoming film. Director D.J. Caruso and LaBeouf did it once with Disturbia—who says that they can’t do it again this September?
Rosario Dawson, Michael Chiklis, and Billy Bob Thornton also star in the film.

‘Sex and the City’ Trailer

The Sex and the City movie trailer has finally arrived, and it’s just as promising and exciting as fans could want. It begins with a voice-over and a wide, sweeping view of Manhattan, then quickly falls into an image free-for-all while the theme music blares invitingly. Quick screenshots flash past, showing images inside Carrie’s apartment, the four girls walking together, and a photo shoot where Carrie sports the much-touted wedding dress. As the music ends, the final scene shows a steamy kiss between Carrie and Mr. Big. All of it leads up to the promise that the movie will debut May of 2008.

Owen Wilson Drops Out of Tropic Thunder

Funnyman Owen Wilson, who’s been getting some not-so-hysterical headlines, has dropped out of the comedy Tropic Thunder. The DreamWorks picture is already six weeks into production in Hawaii, and will no longer include Wilson among the cast. This stems from the Sunday phone call, where Wilson was rushed to hospital after an apparent suicide attempt. Wilson’s next flick, The Darjeeling Limited, features Wilson as a distraught man who might have attempted suicide. Fox Searchlight has announced the film will go forward as planned, opening September 29. Wilson has also recently wrapped production on another film, which will debut next spring.
