Diary of a Wimpy Kid overshadowed the girl-powered fighting flick, earning $24.4 million to take first place at the box office.
Sucker Punch had a dismal opening weekend, raking in a disappointing $19 million to score second place. Limitless is still going strong, though it’s fallen to number three, earning $15.2 million. Lincoln Lawyer ($11 million) and Rango ($9.8 million) finish off the top five earners of the weekend.

Matthew McConaughey’s The Lincoln Lawyer barely earned fourth place with $13.4, only narrowly edging out fifth-ranked Paul’s $13.1 million.
