So I copied a game, Darwinia, to my Cruzer Titanium USB Flash Drive.  All of the sudden I can’t use anything in the Program Files folder of the drive.  Everything else works, and Darwinia is the only thing inside Program Files that works.  If I try to open any of the folders/files that suddenly appeared it says “file” is not accesible. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.  If I put it on a computer running Mac OS X the folder just appears empty.

i know basically nothing about this stuff, but i would recommend reformating the drive. Take all your data off, first… of course

good luck 😊

You messed up the filesystem. Doubt you will salvage much, but try, then reformat. Let us know how it goes.

Well I lost everything that was important, everything that wasn’t was fine.  I reformated and it’s working fine. I had to rewrite an essay that was lost though.  😢
