it sounds like its embedded in your registry. you’re gonna have to use a program like “hijackthis” and run it. it’ll give you a log of your registry of its processes and what not. you can submit this log to certain forums (i dont remember which ones, hopefully someone here can help me out here), and they’ll help you out. check out the adaware forums.

try booting on safe mode and running the adware/aniti virus programs again. Looks to me you have a start page trojan on your hands.

Windows XP SP1 and greater, Internet Explorer Can be found by clicking Add/Remove Windows Components on the left.

Spyware apps do not remove viruses. First, i suggest using REAL spyware removes, Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Those are the only two i trust. Next, get a copy of AVG Free. Install, update, run a scan. And lastly, stop using Internet Explorer. You wouldnt be in this mess if u werent using it, use Firefox and help make the world a better place.

If those apps still havent fixed ur problem, then you might want to save yourself the hours of frustration by just doing a clean install of windows and again, use Firefox.
