I use this for my 4 port KVM between windows XP, suse linux 9.2, OSX on a G4 tower, and OS9 on a g4 tower…

I would recommend it. Its got the apple key on it and such, a very good multiplatform keyboard.

OK I am a PC guy since I sold my Apple II.  I am hopefully getting a Mac Mini from TechGear4Free and I need a good way to have both of them run on the same keyboard, mouse and monitor.  If I bought something like this would it work on a Mac?  What else do people suggest?  Should I just use the same monitor and get a new mouse and keyboard for the Mac?  Please help me :D

Uhm I’m guessing you want to share the monitor, mouse, and keyboard with your PC.  I’ve never liked this idea because I don’t see the point of having two computers if you can only use one at a time, but I understand that monitors are expensive.

The one you chose will not work, you need a USB one, not PS/2.
This will work http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-107-316&depa=1

If you’re going to buy a KVM switch, make sure it’s USB…mac’s don’t use PS/2 ports anymore, and they haven’t for a very long time already.

Yeah I was going to use PS/2 to USB adapters b/c that KVM is for digital monitors which mine is…

Ha ha ha .... Very funny. It fits nicely with all the Mac Mini Hype since IOGEAR is marketing it so that you buy this product together with the Mac Mini.  :mischeif:
