It’s Tracking Speed in system preferences.

Thanks for the advice.
I’ve set the tracking speed at the highest setting in system preferences, and still not pleased.  Maybe it’s a faulty mouse.  Wonder if I wireless would have more options—or if that’s set if system preferences, too….

try putting it on a lower setting.

lower=slower

Did that and every setting inbetween.  Fastest is definitely best.  Thanks.
