Okay, I know the nano has a notes thing where you can stores notes.

I read the online manual. It said that you have to enable the pod for external disk use, which I did.

Then you save the document as a text (.txt) document, which I did.

Then you “Place the file in the Notes folder on iPod nano.” (direct quote from page 42 of the nano online manual)

But I can’t find the Notes folder!

I know you right-click on the ipod nano icon in iTunes and go to iPod options, I looked all over that whole box and couldn’t find any Notes folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And please DON’T be as cryptic as the manual is!

(also: don’t ask me what I’m trying to put on my ipod, it is irrelevant to my problem. and don’t say “what does cryptic mean?”; you have a computer, look it up.)
