I guess there are no more “Finding Nemo” like movies out so the little kids are forced to see this!

speaking of crap movies has anyone seen Alexander? what a steaming pile of crap that movie was.. it was like 3 and a half hours long of absolutely no plot, an almost laughable amount of blood (believe me i’m not squeemish.. it was just ridiculous), terribly set up, terrible direction, alright acting….

crap.

don’t be embarrassed i could totally understand.. me and my friend wanted to walk out but we weren’t sure if the other wanted to so we didn’t say anything.  After the movie we both were like wow that was terrible we should have walked out… seriously.. i had no compassion or feelings for any of the characters.  I loved Troy and I know many people didn’t but Alexander was supposed to be another Troy and you know what? With Troy I wanted both sides to win, like I felt such compassion and really liked all the characters and understood their causes.  Alexander everything was just senseless there wasn’t a reason, the characters were so poorly developped you couldn’t have cared less if one of them died.

blah.. grr

In regards to your question hector

people are like sheep—the motion picture association points and people will flock…it’s disturbing actually…

Spice

I have not watched alexander, nor do I intend to—it to me prior to this thread looked like a big pile…but thanks for verifying this fact.  Sorry you had to sit through 3? hours tho to bring us this information.

Its funny you should say that, too. Because the black sheep (the ones who don’t follow the flock and download their movies for free) are getting crucified by the MPAA, too. I went today to see a movie with my family, and we paid like 8 bucks each at the door. Insane, when to take a family of four out for a night at the movies (sans food, mind you) it costs 32 bucks. And when you’re a student? You don’t have 8 bucks to waste on **** like Alexander (really sorry about that, Spice). I mean, I’d almost NOT walk out of a crappy movie just because I had already paid for it and otherwise it’d be a complete total waste of my money.

I know exactly what you mean. I hate paying for crap. That’s why if I’m not into the movie from the beggining, then I ask around for opinions before going to see a movie.
