My friend has his xbox setup so that he can play every SNES, NES, and Atari game off of his xbox.  Does anybody have any idea of how to do this?

On my XBOX I can:

- Play Nintendo, SNES, Nintendo 64, ColecoVision, Atari, MAME, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Game Boy Advance games.

- Store 200 GB of XBOX disc iamges and play games without needing a disc

- Access all files on my PC over the wireless network. I can play all my videos and audio through the XBOX Media Center. I can also view all pictures and do slideshows on the fly.

- Play against people online for free without XBOX Live.

- Read RSS feeds

And much, much more 😉

Wait a minute. Thats not possible. To have all those apps you must flash the Xbox bios. With flashed bios and a different serial of hard drive from the original(only if you logged into Xbox live with original hard drive) Xbox bans you from Xbox live.  If you change the hard drive before logging onto Xbox live and turn the switch off or revert the bios to original then you are safe. But thats a lot to do. How do you do it?

Xbox connect. He can’t play X-Box Live. He posted that story on the front page.  http://www.gearlive.com/archives/2004/11/modded_xboxs_no.html

XBConnect, or XLink Kai. Both let you play online, no XBOX Live needed.  :D
