I wasn’t terribly impressed with the episode, but we’ll see. New Family Guy next week (maybe).

I thought it was hillarious. Did anyone else watch it ?

The churros WAS in american dad. That was a cool show definately.

My Tivo recorded it, havn’t watched it yet. 😊  NY Times said it sucked….

i didnt find it all that great…had some funny moments, but i think im sticking with family guy. i like the stewie brian combo better than the alien fish combo.

come May, i’ll give american dad a few more episodes, and we’ll see if it gets any better.

My favourite character in there was the alien. I thought he was really funny. The humour of the overall show just seemed far too dated. Terrorist alerts and Dubya talking to God? Let’s see if this holds up four years from now =\ Or later. At least “Family Guy” is kinda frozen in time, much like the Simpsons.

Oh, and I know that “Family Guy” and “American Dad” share the same creators, but they just seemed far too much alike. “The Simpsons” and “Futurama” carry the same creators too, don’t they? Or is it just the same animation team? Or both? Either way, both are strikingly different shows in terms of humour, plot, etc.

Like Antman said, I think I’ll give it a couple of more episodes to see if it holds up. I will say that one thing to save it was the churros comment :mischeif: But I doubt non-Gear Live folk would have appreciated it as much as we did.

I think we should give it a chance. The creator is experimenting with the show. I remember the pilot episode of Family Guy wasn’t the greatest but later on it went on to become great. Remember Seth made this show because he thought FG would never come back. Now he has to be twice the great producer he’s always been.

Next week? I thought it came out on 1 May.. :? Hmmmm

I had to get it off newsgroups, Fox screwed up the Superbowl Scheduling and I ended up with the end of the Superbowl for American Dad, and more Superbowl and the beginning of The Simpsons for The Simpsons.

Watched it and had some laughs. I liked it.

It was good.  The alien bugs except when he squirts everywhere.  Thats comedy.  I can’t freaking wait for the new Family Guys…
