only time will tell cuz iraq is still goin on..i would have to say iraq though. with vietnam, we werent really sure what we were getting into, then it got bad.  with iraq, we knew what we were getting into, and we had vietnam in our history, yet we still chose to go in. fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me.

this is, unless, the war results in world peace or we find aton of WMD’s…or osama….

I dont see this as an this or that situation. If you look at the number of US soldiers involved in Vietnam at this point we are at in Iraq, and you compare it to US soldiers and “private contractors (aka Mercs)you will see relatively comparable levels of strength and conversely, relative levels of injuries and deaths.
