Speaking from experience (I have most of the controller’s mentioned):

Donkey Conga Bongos:  I thought it looked incredibly stupid.  But they actually work quite well, and the games are fun, sort of DDR style.

Jaguar Controller:  It looks horrible.  But the thing is actually damn comfy in your hands.

Power Glove:  um…it’s fun for Mike Tyson’s PunchOut (Punchout for the younger kids here).  That’s it.

Worst controller???  Tie between the Original Intellivision controller and the Original controller for the Atari 5200….utter crap.

Fave controllers would be the SNES controller, Saturn 3D controller (for Nights), NES Max….and as much as I hate to say it XBox and Gamecube controllers.

I detest the 4 way directional buttons of the PS and PS 2….  my thumb has never had so many blisters.

nicely put cmstar

best controllers of all time:

1. Nintendo 64 - to this date no one else has put a trigger on the controller and with all the first person shooters, this seems like an obvious decision.  And the thumb stick is positioned perfectly.

2. Super Nintendo - It just felt great and had a lot of buttons for its time and looking at controllers since this one, you see a lot of companies following in its footsteps.  Sadly, this is the best picture I can find.

3.
Microsoft Sidewinder (original) - For the PC, this was hands down the best feeling controller I used and in my opinion, it hasnt been matched.

I remember how they were talking about creating a light-gun add-in pack for the memory port.  That way you could use the trigger button while pointing the back of the controller to the screen.  WTF!!

Power gloves kicked.
I had a pair of em hooked up to a VR system.  It was cool to be able to play virtual hand ball.
After you got bored you could rip em apart and make all sorts of interesting gadgets using the ultrasonic transmitters/receivers.

I forgot about the VirtualBoy controller.  That thing actually felt natural and was easy to manuever in 3D.

The N64 controller was unique, and in theory, it was good.  But holding the thumbstick portion felt unnatural to me.

I like the dreamcast because it has TWO triggers instead of top buttons (like the PS 2) and it felt natural in your hands and was well proportioned.  However the Dreamcast controller was just an upgraded Saturn 3D controller.  That controller was ugly, but I liked the larger more substantial 3d thumbstick of it better than the DC

...and at least to me, the 2600 joystick is a DREAM compared to the 5200….  Plus with a 2600 system you could always plug in a Sega Master System or Genesis controller instead.  With the 5200 you were stuck with crap.

my friend has that steel batallion controller…its nuts, but tons of fun to play with. every button has an actual function. just to start the engine on your mech is sweet, haha. a lot of the buttons light up too. i wouldn’t pay 200 bucks for it, but since my friend did, i din’t mind playin with it too much, lol.

Are you kidding? That control pad is wobbly as hell, and I don’t know about you, but both my and my friends’ died after about two months, and they weren’t mistreated! (At least, mine wasn’t.) So instead, I simply use an adapter and the PS1 controller, which is a lot more versatile. Plus, it has shock and rumble. 8)

I used this controller with driving games (like need for speed) and fighting games (like mortal kombat), both on the PC, and it worked flawlessly.  my controller felt tight and responsive and the button layout was excellent.  It still does after so many years and its still my main PC controller.

It looks like a Hershey’s Kiss!! And I dunno about you, but I wouldn’t wanna be touchin’ its cooter for all the controls and such 😛

(I hope you’re proud, Hector, I actively tried to include a picture for this one. Your Darth Vader “Lack Of Pics” image scares me!! :()

Bravo Andreux, Bravo!  I was pleasantly surprised, I must say.  👏

BTW, maybe you can think of it as fondling its feet, instead.  :D

I dunno if I’d really like the foot sex much better, Hector… :| To be honest, I’m *really* afraid of feet, especially feet coming anywhere near my hair. LMAO It’s a long story 😛

That was the first image to come up for “foot sex” LOL

BTW, the firewall at my job is blocking the pic for now.  I’ll check when I get home.
