I want to install 2 SATA Hard drives, and RAID them, you know… So I want 2 affordable big drives, that arent going to crash on me.  Im going to use this for video editing, etc.  Any Suggestions

I would reccomend newegg as a great online computer store. I’ve heard that Seagate makes the best drives but I havn’t had any personal experince with them and they usually cost more than Western Digital. I would say Western Digital has the best price/quality ratio.

i just picked up a 250 gig maxtor from compusa (ok if i say that?) for 160 on sale (instant! no mail in crap!!)

i havent really used it for much yet cept dumping some large stuff off my other drives for space…

besides it being a bit noisy when im using it (think multi gig file copy), it runs fast, and its sooooooooo much space.

i prefer wd, but alas, the price was right…(and i had a $40 gift card burning a hole in my pocket…)
