Okay so I’ve bought a Model car for my friend and been customizing it. My issue is I need to cut a line about 1cm long and about as thick as a credit card. What could I use to do this?

If you have a steady hand, your best bet would probably be a hobby knife and maybe cut it a little smaller than what you need and get some real fine sandpaper for a model and smooth it down to your specs.

That could be pretty tricky to do, but from my experiences with working on model cars a hobby knife and steady hand are best.

Shouldn’t be more than a couple of dollars for one. You can usually get them fairly cheap at any hobby store.

Here is one made by Testors. Really good brand for model car supplies or just model supplies in general.
