Ok, simply put, in this thread I want to know what people will do with the Gearlive iPhone if they win it. Heres mine:

Since I already have an iPhone and will be standing in line for the iPhone 3G (moms gettin it for me :)) if I win the custom painted GearLive iPhone I will give it to my cousin in Poland because I just met her last year and she is getting married this year so kind of a really cool present for her. And in Poland they dont make as much money as we do here so they would be absolutely thrilled. This would always give her memories of me and it will always remind me of her and my first time seeing ehr in Poland.

If they don’t want it, I would give it to a priest that I met in my church here in the states, but he moved to Poland. I would give it to him because not ony has he been a big influence on my life, but he had good times with me and my family and since that was the only cool priest I’ve ever had I’ll miss him because he went to Krakow. And I would give him the GearLive iPhone as a memory of me and my family.

If neither of them want it, I would simply just give it to a girl in my school that I really like and kind of been flirting around with for about the past year and she kinda loves the iPhone. I really don’t feel like keeping the iPhone to myself because of the 3G one of which I am completely looking forward to. (Btw for those non-believers, IF I do win the iPhone (remember, big IF) I will post a video up on the forums showing what I did with it.)

I would totally throw out my old cellie and use the Iphone. Especially since I could have GearLive unlock it for me so I can use it with my existing cell service. :)

Its probably already unlocked haha. Thats my assumption anyways. If not ziphone and 5 minutes good to go!

I would definitely have it unlocked and then use it. Would definitely be better than the KRZR that I’m currently using.

Well if I win I will use it. Since now that I know what it is and what it can do, I will be like a kid with a new toy. I will be playing around with it. I wouldnt give it to nobody, I would use it for myself. I will probably download music to it of course and use the interenet on it for when I am not home. Oh and play some games on it I love to play games.

Hmmm.. If I win the iPhone, i’d use it just about everyday.  My main phone being the blackberry which I use for school and work.  And the iPhone i’d use for family and friends, much like a party phone.  I already have two lines for that same exact purpose so it’s only a matter of putting the sim on the iPhone ;)

Well supercom you would have the get an “approved sim” from ATT or it won’t work in the iphone.

Well my presumption was that you already had AT&T;so I thought you were going to take your old sim card and put it into the iPhone. So I’m guessing that you have T-Mobile? Or some other GSM carrier?

Woohoo! For sim cards. What a wonderful device. I love that all I have to do is have it unlocked and then I can just use my t-mobile account with an Iphone. :)

Its going to be illegal in Canada to have an unlocked phone soon :( But the glory of sim cards are still great.

They would be, except that i have a problem with saving all of my contacts on my phone. They end up there so I can have all my custom ringtones and pictures for contacts. If they can put 4gigs on a micro sd card, they should be able to make sim cards that hold more contact info. I wait for that day to come.

What would I do with an iPhone? I’m not too sure yet and I don’t know! Haha, I mean, I think winning it would be great, but I think right now, since everything is still up in the air, I won’t think too much about winning it until of course, I do end up winning it. I think we all have different ideas of how we would be using the iPhone and this thread is pretty neat to see what everyone would do with it.
