Deadwood..Comes Back From the Dead

According Variety..HBO will produce two 2-hour ‘Deadwood’ specials to wrap up the series. No timetable on production of the 4-hour wrapup was announced butt that the breakdown of the elaborate “Deadwood” set had halted.

Deadwood creator David Milch released a statement that makes it clear the show will end for sure at the end of season 3.  We’re just 10 days away from the start of season 3. HBO says the reason they’re pulling the plug…is money.
 
What was nice about Deadwood is that it’s a different show than you’ll find on TV. It had fresh writing which made it a well deserved vacation from some of the other shows out there.

about time HBO did a western show. Now next thing they need is an Egyptian show done like Rome was.
