Hey everyone. Here are 10 ways/tips to save the land that I believe is so important to us. Some tips are definitely better than others, but in the end, our land is what we’re trying to save. We need land to build our homes, run around on it and grow food. We need to take care of our land and reduce our waste to make our planet greener.
1. Use a reusable bag rather than a plastic that tens to end up in the landfill.
2. Reduce, reuse, recycle. Using less, using the same things over and over and sharing, costs less and helps save the planet.
3. Use a battery charger to reuse batteries.
4. Shop at garage sales and thrift sotres. Buying ussed clothing and other items not only saves money, it reduces waste as well as energy and land needed to produce brand new items.
5. Have fun and garden. It cleans the air and saves soil erosion!
6. Donate reusable items to charities.
7. Reuse envelopes and when you have to print on paper, print on both sides.
8. Compost keeps food items out of landfill and renews the soil.
9. Borrow books from the library rather than buying your own or read them online.
10. Take a litterless lunch to school, work or play.
