Bamboos are one of the mostly used decorations by Chinese or Asian because it symbolizes peaceful, good-to-the-eyes, feng shui and giving calm gesture to the surrounding environment. Here?s nice bamboo lights: Sevcan Yardim, graduate of the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, designed this modular bamboo lamp. It is supposed to blend well with natural outdoor environments. The lights are energy-efficient LEDs. Although, I?m raised in Canada, I would still prefer some Eastern/Asian Touch to my home - too bad I live in a condo, this thing is suitable for outdoor.

Wow, I don’t know how I missed this thread earlier—glad it was brought up again!  Good catch sushrukh on catching this very interesting article—it looks like it would be very calming to have in a persons house, after say a long hard day at work.  Just turn off the lights, maybe turn on one of those little devices where the stream runs over the rocks (cant think of the word right now) and just sit back and relax!

I bet if we added more colors it’ll make an awesome Halloween! Are these for sale anywhere yet? How much do they cost?
