Is Disney can do it, so can New Line. As animated movies become more popular with the rise of CGI, more movie studios are giving full-length feature film attention to the genre. For the first time in the 40-year history of New Line, the studio is making ready to release just such a film. It’s SciFi/Adventure meets family fun in Planet 51, a movie about aliens who live in complete fear of outside invasion. This plot could have gone a totally different way. But instead of fear, audiences will get laughs when an Earth-born astronaut finds Planet 51 (and friendship) instead. Here’s my question: was he using our technology to get there? Because I find this, above all else, highly unlikely.
