Dan Rather has filed a $70 million lawsuit against former employers CBS for a story that aired on CBS Evening News Sept. 2004. The story was narrated by Rather and accused President George W. Bush of skirting some of his National Guard duties. Rather says the story is true, through CBS fired several people from the network and released statements saying a mistake had been made.
