Lost’s Zachary Quinto will play the role Leonard Nimoy made famous in the Star Trek film, but the original Mr. Spock will have an appearance in the flick as well. The two stood shouler-to-shoulder at a recent convention, where Nimoy told the audience to “live long and prosper.” It’s rumored that Shatner will likewise have a cameo in the film, though there’s no word yet on who will fill his shoes to take on the famous role of Captain Kirk.

Don’t you mean from Heroes?  Yeah, the guy who plays Sylar seems like a pretty good choice for Spock.  And a reboot of Trek, I think, is certainly welcome.
