Though NBC canceled The Apprentice, that was probably before the network standings for last year’s fall season were revealed - with NBC bringing up the rear behind competitors ABC, CBS…even FOX. The Apprentice, hosted by the one and only Donald Trump, has therefore been renewed. How will NBC tempt the viewers that fled the reality show last year? With celebrities! The celebs will donate their winnings, instead of working for Trump - a fairly useless endeavor that’s obviously being used to fill glaring programming gaps. Good luck, NBC.
