Though the FOX version of the BBC’s Kitchen Nightmares (a show featuring chef Gordon Ramsay of Hell’s Kitchen fame) has not yet premiered, it’s already in the news. Allegedly, Ramsay verbally abused an employee of Dillon’s, a Manhattan Restaurant and staged certain elements of the reality show to make the situation seem more dire than it was. The employee is seeking millions in damages from Ramsay in a lawsuit similar to one the chef faced one year ago, ironically enough for the BBC Kitchen Nightmares. Ramsay’s rep says fakery wasn’t in the cards, but commented no further on the suit.
