Is there anyone out there who remembers this guy?  He taught you how to do fun, simple science experiments using stuff you find around the house.  The second incarnation of his show (the one I grew up on) aired on Nickelodeon through the 80s.  He just died of bone cancer at 89.  Tell me I’m not the only one who remembers him.
