It’s official: Jordin Sparks is the newest American Idol. During last night’s season finale, Jordin performed the last song of the night with tears in her eyes and a tremble in her voice, just after being named this season’s winner. She joins other winners like Reuben Studdard, Taylor Hicks, Carrie Underwood, and Kelly Clarkson - all of whom were in the house to perform for live Idol audienes last night. Jordin says her upcoming album will be an infusion of several musical genres.
