Set to air this week after another live American Idol episode, FOX’s new reality series On The Lot promises to bring the magic of filmmaking right into living rooms. Fifty would-be filmmaking finalists will gather to compete in a “Hollywood Boot Camp,” where they will be judged by some very prestigious producers and directors. Finalists are competing for a million-dollar movie deal that could create the next big film career…or, another box office flop. The public gets to decide who will stay in the competition, and eventually the public will decide if the winning movie is worth it’s salt at the box office.
