Sanjaya Malakar exploded onto the American Idol stage with a meek singing voice, a different sort of ‘do, and a face that everyone started to love. He became the biggest sensation in American Idol history - but not for the reasons that most singers would want. Where can you go after reaching the highest popularity in America’s number one show? Where else but the White House? Malakar will attend a dinner with President Bush this weekend, where they will no doubt exchange ideas on warfare and song selecion. If only we could get them to do a duet during the next State of the Union - that would go a long way toward improving the President’s popularity.
