Can’t wait to hear Mike Myers in a brogue again? Dying to hear Eddie Murphy make somewhat pedantic jokes? Never fear, Shrek the Third will soon be here. In May, the sequel to the runaway Dreamworks hit will come to theatres with whole new adventures for Shrek, Donkey, Puss in Boots, and Fiona. The entire cast is back, with some additions. Justin Timberlake will be the voice of “Artie” Arthur Pendragon, the boy who would be king - of Far, Far, Away (not Camelot, not this time). New characters in the film include Merlin (can’t have Arthur without him), Cinderella, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. In related news, Dreamworks is being sued by Disney for defamation of characters…no, just kidding, but the famous princesses will be depicted with some quirky qualities sure to give fans a laugh. Look for it all this May, though it’s unlikely anyone will be able to escape the oncoming onslaught that is Shrek.
