Every Quentin Tarantino movie is anticipated, as this movie mogul just keeps surprising fans and pushing the envelope of what might be acceptable to show in theatres. Many have probably thought, if not publicly stated, that Tarantino might have had great success showing films in Grindhouse theatres from days gone by. Exploitation films showing bloody violence once called Grindhouses home - and what better place for Tarantino? Sadly, Grindhouses are no more…so this Hollywood writer/director/producer/actor decided to create his own. A new double feature filled with blood, ghastly violence, and cheap thrills is the perfect project to be named Grindhouse (in homage to those great B-movies from days gone by). And Tarantino is the perfect one to bring it to the movie mainstream. But don’t expect Grindhouse to be another Kill Bill in even bloodier clothing - this project is a far cry from past Tarantino flicks.
