Chris Sligh, who was an early frontrunner in the sixth season of the reality hit American Idol, says he never entered the contest expecting to win. And, naturally, he definitely won’t - the singer was voted off the stage just last week. According to Chris, his goal was reached when he made the top ten and thus ensured a spot on the Idol summer tour, but motivational experts say his Negative Nancy attitude probably kept him from going farther in the contest. Chris Sligh is also alleging that he asked producers, earlier in the show, to be taken out of the contest. Executive producer Ken Warick says this was never brought to his attention.
