ive got oregon trail on my laptop, it runs through an apple IIe emulator….i could of sworn it used to take longer to finish the trail… |

lol yup. It would be three gigs, but id have to buy two 1 gig sticks sticks since i have two 512 MB sticks and one 1 gig stick. MORE MEMORY = GOOD.

when I get to class, I’ll try to find the emulator and game on my laptop…if y’all are lucky, i’ll even upload it on my website for download. if i do though, remember, its a personal website, don’t get every OTrail fiend downloading on there, haha. |

an emulator is software that pretends to be hardware. so in this case ur using software to pretend to be the Apple II Computer hardware. If u download the package that antman put up, u should be fine. Heres how i got it to work, run the Apple emulator, then load the first disk by clikcing the lil floppy button on the right and choose the first disk image inside the oregon trail folder then click the lil apple on the right. |

download 7-zip. Its compressed, so u need to uncompress it. http://www.7-zip.org. Once u have 7-zip, and have installed it, right click on that file and choose extract. Yes 7-zip is free. |
