How much $ do you spend on transportation each month?

In NYC, I use a Metrocard for unlimited transfers between trains and busses.  $70.

Maybe about 20 bucks on my Toyota once a week. Maybe a week and a half. More like the latter. Gas prices in TX are cheap 😊

Before I moved closer, I had to plink down around $130 on my metro card to get through a month.  That was in addition to what work covered. ($100)
Now the bill’s around $80.
So needless to say, not much anymore.

Car payment = $350, Gas = $60, Maint = $<40.  My car has relatively low miles (<50,000), so it doesn’t require a lot of maintenance.  I’d say $450-500 a month including insurance.

Now, are we going to count airplanes and hotels?  If so this could get expensive…  :o
