[quote author=“AndruGearLive”]You can also try XLink. You can play against other XBOX, PS2, and Gamecube users - just no downloadable content. You can also use your XBOX headset.

why? I havent tried it yet so I wouldnt know
I just don’t like it when I try to update my game with a patch, Gamespy comes up and directs to me towards a site where I have to pay to download it. Why would I do that when the game comes with an automatic patch installer which downloads directly from their website? It’s just irritating. I don’t need a program to show me what games I have so I can pick which one to play either. It finds servers for your games too but the games come with this feature. I guess it’s trying to consolidate your games so you can switch between them but on a pc this isn’t necessary. For an XBOX, yeah you need that but not for a PC.

Andru, do you have the link for that? I tried looking for it online and had no luck.
Update: I just got halo 2 and I needed to play online, but didn’t want to pay for it. I found a nice program called XBConnect. It cost nothing and all you have to do is download the program and make an ID, then your ready to go, tons of halo and halo 2 games on it all the time. Anyone thats interested should check it out, its a lot of fun.
the main site is http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ You can download there program and it works with any console, and if you have a modded xbox(not that anyone does) you can get it on xbox media center, so you dont have to go thru your computer.
