I don’t know this is kind of a spin off to the Drug thread. but it maybe alittle too personal for some. guess we will see how it goes.

Well me i have asthma. i have had it for years. i used to have it bad as a kid. in and out the hospital every week. there was this one time when i was 10yrs old and my heart stopped and i had a out of body experience(thats what it seemed) and they brought me back and took me to the hospital. but as i hit my teen years it had gotten better. i ran track for my high school and stuff.  but as i started to get near the end of my teen years its to be coming back. but it mostly comes back when i get hella stressed out. so i try not to stress on alot of things in life.

Well I have bad eye sight (see glasses thread), scoliosis, and I curse a lot but I guess that isn’t really a disease.

i got a lil lower back pain due to a car accident i was in when i was 15. its a big reason why i don’t think old people that wear glasses 2 inches thick shoudln’t drive.

my left knee sometime acts up also, kickball accident. best friend and i collided when we both were trying to catch a fly ball…well, back then he was taller and bigger than me, so he won that fight and i went tumbling. i think my knee did something weird on the landing.

I have a height deficiency disorder, or HDD. Also known as vertically challenged (VC).

No this isn’t a real disease, I’m just 5’6” and that sucks when you’re a dude. Its fun to blame it on something other than genetics.

I suffer from this as well. We should start a support group.  😢

I have gastroesopheogal reflux disease. Basically, I have to take that purple pill you hear about all over the place (Nexium) to neutralize the acid in my stomach, otherwise I am in constant pain.  :x

When I was a little kid my aunt drop me on my face from a bed (go ahead laugh, I did when they told me what happened) And it messed up my nasal bone…I couldn’t breath from my left nostril for about 9 years, until I underwent surgery about 4 years ago. I still have problems breathing from my leftnostril sometimes. :|

Hey, JMillion, my family doctor says I might be getting asthma because my allergies are so bad. :( I dunno if you have been reading the other thread (“When Was The Last Time You Went To Da Doctor?”), but they have been doing breathing tests, CT scans, and blood withdrawals on me for the past 3 months or so, and that is what they are thinking. I have to go to the cardiologist tomorrow, and I’m really scared, I dunno what they’re gonna make me do. All I know is I can’t do a lot of physical things ‘cause I run out of breath, and when I take a shower and it gets humid, I can’t breathe in there either. It’s really scary, I run out of the bathroom panicking. :( Anyway, wish me luck, if my doctor diagnoses me with asthma, I’ll be sure to come to you JMillion for some advice and some other words of encouragement. I’ve never had asthma before of course 😛

hector, have you always lived with hearing problems, or was it something that just sorta happened?

i’m always afraid of losing my hearing…too many loud concerts, and you can’t do much about it when you’re sitting right up front….

LOL - Dont damage your ears! 😛

Are they the wrap around the ear ones, or are they the discreet inner ear ones?  8)

About my ears, it happened (so i’m told) through a series of ear infections brought on by colds, when I was a real young tyke.  I can hear you fine without them, but if you’re a short distance away I may not catch eevry word.  It can get worse over time though, so beware of those rock concerts.  Yanni concerts too.
