since on the issue. What do you guys think of toungue rings on guys?
Well I think they are sexy 👏 👏 👏
LOL Wolfeman
Well, to answer Oscar’s question, I have a tongue ring, but… I think generally, it’s considered a gay thing to do…? If you’re a guy, I mean. Why a non-gender piercing would have a sexuality, I don’t know :| But some people are immature enough to say, “Ewwwwww, that’s gay,” so yeah
I, personally, think it’s cool that a guy (straight or gay) gets a tongue piercing. Back when I was first starting out with piercings, I know I was always impressed with people (guy or girl) that had tongue piercings especially. It just looked like it hurt so bad—kinda like it was the most hardcore piercing, I guess…? lol I can tell you now, however, that the tongue piercing hurt the least for me, but it is indeed the piercing that gave me the most trouble for the week or two *after* the piercing. By “trouble,” I don’t mean pain either. It was just difficult to get used to.
Two years later, I still love my tongue piercing. It’s an awesome accessory, and people are always shocked by it. I hardly show anyone ‘cause I’m so used to it, and when I’m talking, it sometimes shows itself. When I was living in France, one of my friends, who I had known for about four months prior, was completely shocked when she found out I had a tongue piercing. It was just something that I hadn’t showed or told her, and she eventually found out while watching me eat and talk at the same time (yes, I know I have bad manners, haha)
If anyone gets a tongue piercing, be ready to never roll your r’s or tongue ever again, even when it heals. Well, I guess I shouldn’t say “ever again.” I can definitely roll my r’s when I take off the piercing, but rolling my r’s while wearing the piercing causes the piercing to bash up against my teeth, and it feels weird a little. I can’t turn my tongue upside down either with this thing. Again, I have to take it out.
Like I said before, I’ve worn my tongue piercing for two years pretty much non-stop, except for maybe two to five minutes every now and then to keep it clean. I’ve never taken it out for a day or a week like some people do. I’m entirely used to my tongue piercing, and it never hurts me. Taking out my tongue piercing makes me feel weird, to be honest, lol—it feels like I’m missing something in my mouth (no need to get gross, everyone, haha)
So to ultimately answer Oscar’s question, it’s completely normal for a guy or a girl to get a tongue piercing ‘cause, guess what: the piercing isn’t gay! The piercing isn’t even a guy or a girl! lol Just be mature about it. It’s nothing big.
