Movies like The DaVinci Code and Dogma gave audiences a new way to look at old beliefs, but one German filmmaker is going to take Christ-related fiction one step further. The 13th Disciple, a movie that’s set to begin production in the next several months, will take place in current-day India and focus on a little-known figure in Christian mythology: the evil twin brother of Jesus. Okay, so actually the twin idea is totally made up, and Jesus himself will not be portrayed on screen. But if Superman and Spiderman can have evil alter-egos, why not the son of God?

If you really read the bible, You will find that Jesus has an “alter-ego” and his name is Lucifer. He was created by God, just as Jesus was, but he decided to abdicate on the purpose that God intended for him. He wanted the throne and the power of God, and for all of heaven to bow down and worship him. (jealous of Jesus, who was ordained from the beginning of time to sit at God’s right hand) So he was cast out of heaven into the lake of fire, and it is his greatest desire and purpose to bring as many people he can with him, because each person he corrupts is one less that will be worshipping Jesus when the world is finally destroyed.

So, to answer the question “why not the son of God” He already does, it just depends on how you look at it.
