Those who gain notice on American Idol can go on to celebrate great careers even when they don’t win the top prize. Second season competitor and TV Guide personality Kimberly Caldwell didn’t win the singing show, but she has won the notice of it’s most recent winner David Cook. Season seven’s title winner talked to the media about a dinner date the pair recently shared, saying they’ll probably do it again soon. And all over American, young women are crying their eyes out.

Well… Yeah? What else can I say.

Haha, I know a lot of women were sad to hear the news! However, they do make a great couple and I am so glad that David Cook won American Idol! He was fantastic on the show and his voice is just amazing.
