Victoria Beckham may be Coming to America, but NBC viewers (or the lack thereof) aren’t all that interested. The show opened to scathing reviews and somewhat dismal ratings, getting beat out by re-runs on two competing networks on the Monday night premiere. Not a great start, but then, the 90s are over. Why do networks keep forgetting that?

I happened to catch this while I was on vacation, and was caught a little off guard.  Who would have thought Victoria Beckham would be interesting?  I guess this was pulled together from bits of pieces of what was supposed to be a reality series around Beckham that never materialized, and it’s a shame, because it might have be good.  It couldn’t be worse than that drek of a show about Paula Abdul.
