Though expectations were high when it was announced “Shaun of the Dead” movie makers would come back with a comedy cop flick, “Hot Fuzz” is falling short. Instead of comedy, fans are getting shoot-‘em-up gore. Needless to say, the film is not what was expected.

I found it quite funny, myself. Laughed my butt off for almost the whole movie. All my friends did, too. Though I would agree that there did seem to be an almost disturbing amount of gore. Most specificaly the part at the church.

I haven’t seen it yet, But I’ve definitely still got faith.  Alot of people could have said the same off Shaun of the Dead in the first place, and I still love it!

I haven’t made it to the theater to see it yet, but I’m really looking forward to it. Ever since I saw a trailer last fall I’ve been so excited, and I absolutely LOVE what these guys did with Shaun of the Dead. What about it didn’t you like, exactly?

I saw it and really liked it.  I think many people were expecting SOTD and, as we all know, this is impossible to duplicate.  But the film was action packed and really funny.  What more are people looking for?
