i installed fedora core 4 linux about a month ago but i still have to boot up windows to play decent games. if i get cedega will i no longer need windows or am i better with the dual-boot?

i’d say stick with a dual boot if you’re a gamer. Cadega/WINE has come a long way, but gaming on linux is still in it’s infancy.

thanks, i am sort of seeing now that it has a long way to go before being a good solution.  hopefully one day i will finally be able to get rid of windows when i either stop gaming or games are made natively for linux.

If you configure cedega right, most games will run faster/better FPS in linux. Also in wine, programs will run much faster. I find that funny 😊
