Okay, i need your guys’ help.  I need to do a couple of things with my computer - and im a total newb at it all.  I’ve been researching it alot, but its really difficult to compare everything.  These are the features I’m looking for…

1) Ability to watch tv on the monitor - ((MUST be in normal TV quality, not blotchy))

2) Connect my home theater system to my computer… ((I think i just need to purchase a soundcard with an optical input))

3) Play my PS2 and eventually the Xbox360 on the monitor ((VGA adapter?))

Is there ANYTHING that i could buy that could combine all three together?  Is there anything you guys suggest? Another problem i would run into is that I dont think the sound would work with the VGA adapter, just video… iunno, ::completely confused::  Please help this newb out! =P 😛

Nice! But would this be able to handle the home theater sys.?  I need the home theater for both casual computer use as well as TV/Videogames… i think i’d also need a new soundcard for that
